Camp Explorer

Our traditional day camp will engage campers in activities that will enhance their spiritual, social, emotional skills, help keep their academics on track, keep them physically active and challenge them to learn new things every day.  Campers will participate in a wide range of sports, arts and crafts, instructional and recreational swimming, and weekly theme days.  In addition, campers will engage in a variety of science, technology, engineering and math activities, reading and journaling through each session.  Campers are divided into age groups and ratios are 1 staff: 15 campers.

Ages:  Rising 1st - 5th grades
Times:  7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Adventure Camp

Adventure Camp is for young people who are currently in middle school and is designed to immerse campers in a variety of fun activities that will keep them active, learning and engaged during the summer months.  Through a variety of hands-on activities, campers will explore science, the arts, and sports, all with a focus on building skills, confidence and strong peer relationships.

Life Skills Camp

Activities and program content will focus on helping children/teens develop resiliency. Resiliency is all about how well you can adapt to changes and challenges. We are developing character and building lifetime learning skills in an awesome and nurturing environment. We mix academic learning skills with non-stop activity, high-energy interactions and tons of fun.

When:  June 12 - 16

Wildlife Camp

Wildlife Camp is a great way to introduce youth to life-long skills that are important to many different types of outdoor recreational opportunities in a safe, controlled, hands-on environment. Our mission is to provide campers with the necessary skills and knowledge to become better sportsman/woman, while instilling an awareness of firearm safety and wildlife stewardship. Hands-on activities are: archery, firearm safety, basic shooting skills (rifle & shotgun), fishing, & orienteering. Campers will also receive their “Hunter Safety Certification” from the NC Wildlife Commission.

Ages:  Coed, 12 years old and up
