What is Functional Training?
Functional Training (FT) combines the elements of strength, power, balance, mobility, accuracy and endurance.
This style of workout utilizes interval or circuit training to produce a high intensity workout experience. We incorporate equipment like Kettlebells, Plyo-Boxes, Rowers, Battle Ropes, Olympic Lifting and bodyweight exercises to in-crease calorie expenditure and build muscles.
A functional training workout easily burns 500 calories for a 45 minute workout. It also increases your metabolic rate from between 10% to 25% for up to 48-72 hours. Whether your goal is losing weight or building muscle, you will see results quick with functional metabolic training. Classes allow participants to work to their individual potential.
