The YMCA After-school Child Care Program is designed to provide quality care with Christian values in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. The YMCA builds character, including honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility. Trained, qualified and knowledgeable counselors provide leadership to the after-school program. The ratio of 1 to 15 gives each participant an opportunity to participate in age appropriate activities. These activities encourage children to grow in Spirit, Mind and Body.

MISSION STATEMENT

To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

School Locations:

The YMCA offers three off-site after-school programs located at Knollwood Elementary, Millbridge Elementary and Landis Elementary as well as care at the South Rowan YMCA for children attending Enochville Elementary, China Grove Elementary, China Grove Middle, Corriher-Lipe Middle School and Southeast Middle (school bus will drop off at Knollwood). The Y will provide transportation from their school to the YMCA facility.

Rates: 2011-2012 school year (printable registration packet)

Registration Fee:
$25 first child. Additional children $15 per child. (non- refundable)

Registration fee must be paid at time of registration.

After School Care:

* YMCA Member-$125/ monthly

* Potential Member-$180/ monthly

Part-time After School Care Only: (child attends 10 days or less)

* YMCA Member-$85/ monthly

* Potential Member-$105/ monthly

All fees are due by the 5th of the month. Student to counselor ratio is 15 to 1.

There is a $10 discount for additional children in the After School Program.

JOIN THE YMCA AT REGISTRATION AND WE WILL WAIVE THE $25 JOINER'S FEE
